昨夜のポールの武道館公演では、この曲をビートルズ時代も含めて初めてライブ演奏したらしい!なんて粋なことをするのでしょう(p_-)ビートルズもポールも最高です☆

Whizzing around on the waltzer at the fairground and this blaring out the speakers when your eleven year old shaped my life in 65.

What occurred to me immediately on hearing this for the 1st time was how alike this track sounds to the Monkees when Micky Dolenz was taking lead vocal (as opposed to David Jones). I understand the Monkees were carefully modeled on the Beatles. If that's true it demonstrates just how closely those behind the Monkees were listening to the Liverpudlians before the American group was presented to the public. Thanks for posting.

One of my favorite Beatles songs. Don't know why, but I just like it!Featuring: Another girl by The Beatles.

It really pleased me that I was able to turn on my grandchildren to the Beatles...And they really love them! Great musical taste, them...unlike most of their peers. However, Grandma still kicks me, when I play this one ;)

Besides peanut butter and jelly, Ringo has been known to throw in a sardine or two.

Just starting a song with no musical introduction was a Beatles recording innovation. Enjoying life, y'all?

As per the other comments I don't think it's profitable to think of each Beatle in their own category pertaining to individual talents as some have suggested, i.e., John was the heart, Paul was the mind and George was the soul, with Ringo being the peanut butter & jelly; the problem with this analogy is that according to their Producer George Martin John, Paul & George all had strong attributes of each other along with them being strongest/weakest

This one always sounded like it had an obvious Elvis influence; a certain swagger. Just listen to the lyrics. Even Paul's vocals. Fantastic!
