Some listeners have complained about the drummer and I can understand why. But his syncopated fills, which give an almost R&B like flavour to what is actually a folk rock song, allow Annie to improvise and express more freely than she can in the usual arrangements. Also wondrous how she can use that syncopation to her advantage and yet resist getting all riff-happy and instead stay true to the spirit of her original rendition.

What a ridicolous drummer ! It was a really shame for a great voice as Annie had a that time ( nowdays it's a little bit different, you know ).

I could not agree more! I saw them back in the 70's with Strawbs. 2 awesome bands. I wish I had known Renaissance were at the Keswick Theatre in Glenside, PA in Oct. 2012. I'd love to have seen them. Sad to hear about Michael Dunford.
