Anne Marie Almedal possesses the rarest of all musical qualities...a perfect voice, whether on a studio recording or in a live performance, as with this beautiful song. I was introduced to her music nearly a year ago by a kind friend from Germany, and I have played her albums so often that, had they been vinyl, I'd have thoroughly worn them out by now. Having seen a number of videos of her live, I know that seeing her perform would be a treat. If only she toured in the U.S. At one time not so long ago, I despaired that wonderful music may have vanished in the mire of corporate radio, never to be heard. Online music sites and YouTube have proven me wrong, and Anne Marie is but one perfect example of why I no longer believe that. Such a pleasure to hear.
