I've seen 7 Johnny Cash concerts and I will admit that each and every one I went to...I went to see the Carter Sisters...especially Anita. When Anita would sing everyone quit whispering and many faces just stared at the stage...she was THAT amazing. When I would leave the concert many people were talking about the "songbird" Anita!

I agree with every comment I've seen.. I was saddened each time one of those sisters died, as they all were so very special to Country Music itself. But with Anita It was even more so,. I felt a loss inside that I've yet found words to describe.. She is indeed special, a voice we'll never tire of, despite never hearing it again, & as Fernhollow1928 said, Did you ever feel like you just got caressed by a voice ? Very true it is indeed.!!!
