I had actually learnt this song last year for my audition with Animals as Leaders and until now had only sort of played it here and there. What this did was give me more time to work on other grooves and experiment with different things over the 9 phrase as well as work on a drum solo (6:10) over the last riff at the end. Anyway another fun epic tune by Tosin Abasi and Misha Mansoor hope you enjoy! (Misha programmed the drum part)

Big respect for master this track! I also tried to play it along with your sheets, but after a few weeks it took to much time to progress.

Awesome cover man, this band always blows me away. Just out of curiosity, why do you use clear heads on the snare? Is it simple personal preference? I know Matt Gartska plays coated heads as most drummer do... Anyways, Just curious ;)

Am I the only one who noticed that in every cover he has, he wears his white Converse? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Funny thing happened.I was listening to this (again) while my 4-year old son was playing in his room. All of a sudden, he comes out and says: "I like this music!""Oh yeah? Nice to hear, son!" I said..And he replies: "That´s rock n´ roll!"Hahaha! :)

I have a question for Troy. In the original recording of the song, there is a full bar of 9/4 before the drums kick in. In this recording, it seems as if the first bar is cut off by around three eighth notes. Was this just an error in the recording you used for the cover, or something else?Love the cover, by the way. Really completes an otherwise unfinished song.
