that was their original sound but honestly if a great engineer/producer took the master tracks and remixed this properly their music could sound a thousand times better. It's mixed really flat without dynamics. A great example of poorly mixed music is Van Halen's last one, A Different Kind of Truth. That CD is mixed by Eddie probably and he's lost some of his hearing thus it sounds muddy and flat with no dynamics tonally.

I have been to about a hundred and fifty concerts , Angel was the very first band I saw on stage ever in my life, it was my first concert , 2 - 10 - 1976 , they were backing up Foghat at the Flint Ima Auditorium , I had never heard any of their music all I remember is they came out dressed in all white , good times .
