Bought my first Angel LP in 1978, and collected all the albums on vinyl as well as CD. This song was the only one missing untill today. My favourite Angel song is The Fortune from their second album. "Better Days" reminds me of the third album "on earth as it is in heaven (You're not fooling me)" more than of "white hot". Anyway thanks for uploading this on Youtube, will listen to it a lot.

Great track and not unlike 'You're not fooling me' off the 'On Earth' album. Rock Candy records are looking to re-release 'White Hot' so let's hope that this finds its way onto it.

I LOVE THIS Man, I wish this would be released on a compilation, These guys really were so special to me in school. Punky is one of the two players that made me pick up a Strat.. and work on a hand vibrato till I ripped my fingertips ;-)

How did I miss Jones' death? Very sorry to hear this. Angel was MY band in high school. I always loved Punky's lead. It was simple but tasteful, and what a vibrato! I remember learning all his leads :) I worked harder than anything at replicating that vibrato ! What a sweet tone! It is NO easy task to get THAT kind of sustain out of a Strat! Learning how to do that was so good for my own playing. Any new players would do well to learn from the man,

Yes..great Rocker this one. Yeah...I was lucky enough to had seen Angel back in the day...both with Mickie and Felix Robinson too. Always Excellent! Loved the music and all excellent musicians. We all miss Mickie too... God bless him always in heaven... Rock on dudes!
