Anette has a wonderful voice but not for Nightwish. It was best for her to leave the band because everyone knew that she also knew deep inside that it was not gonna work. Nightwish has, among others, one very fundamental characteristic: the classical (opera like) singing. Tarja could do that like no other, and Floor does that beautifully in her own way. It is wrong to keep whining about Tarja, because that is almost ten years ago now. Life goes on, and we should be glad they got Floor. And Anette has a wonderful career ahead of her in music too, with her strong rockvoice.

I like all the singers for Nightwish. The music business is just a hard place to stay alive. They have to do whatever they have to do to survive. Everybody is going to have their own favorite so you can't please them all. Bands often change members. One has to remember it is a business. If you're not making a profit then there is no point in doing it.Anette is my favorite but walking off the stage in the middle of a song just doesn't cut it. I would not tolerate this myself and find a replacement.Hopefully Floor will stay awhile. She was kind of shaky in the beginning but that was not her fault because she didn't have really that much time to prepare being that she had to replace Anette in a moments notice.I wouldn't like going through the hassel of replacing a singer but obviously it has to be done if things are not working out. I hope Floor stays but who knows what will happen in the future?Anyways, I wish them them the best of luck.

She was the best singer from nightwish imo. I dont listen to any other nightwish singer. I refuse. I moved on from nightwish when they fired her and her singing is how i wish to remember them!

I think she's had a bad rap, it was Tuomas' mistake for not recognizing that she didn't have the vocal chops to sing for his band. It was a shame she was kicked to the curb.

you know a person's taste for a bands lead singer can be compared to a person's favorite doctor in Doctor Who. It all depends on who you hear first. I have heard all three of these fine ladies. They have their own sound and style and each one brought something original to the band. Why worry about who sings the best, as long as the band sounds great. Besides it is not up to us to find the singer...that is up to the band and if they felt that this person or the other is the best fit then don't question it.

I was never a fan of Anette and Nightwish together, but I don't agree with how they threw her out. No one deserves that kind of treatment. She seems like a very nice person and like grownups, they could have sat down and simply tell her, she is not a fit for their band anymore. There are always better ways to resolve an issue.

I do hope she realises that without Nightwish she would still be singing in bars if at all. Not to be mean, but she's not that big of a singer, she owes her whole career to Tuomas having a brain fart.

I hate people who claim that band politics don't concern us and we should just concentrate on the music. Because thats like saying if a murderer made some music its ok to like it and buy his music even though you are then supporting and giving him money. So if Nightwish is being cruel and treating singers like shit they do not deserve the money and loyalty.

She is a wonderful and cute person. She's got nice voice, I don't understand how can ppl do not like such a nice lady and try to seek for any flaw and make rumors. Just look at her in amaranth, she's very pretty and now no changes, she's cool... Guys who do not like her, keep your opinions with you please.
