Aneiki were not one-hit wonders. The four singles that they put out including the album all made the Australian Hot 100. Followup singles were "Superhero" which was No.48, "15 Minutes" was No.72, and "Even Without You" was No.97. Album "Words In Place Of Pictures" was No.87. A shame that they were not marketed better by Roadshow Music, as they had the potential to be a majorly successful band like Savage Garden were.

The only You Tube song where I have to adjust my headphone jack so I can hear the song on both sides of my headphones. Geez you guys from The Gap don't make it easy. This song still gets played on FM radio and brings a smile to my face.

Quite possibly. If you have the Break Me Shake Me single, on the live track, she is one of the backing singers, along with Bess-Serena Ringham, who is credited as just Bess-Serena on the case. From memory, yes it is her, though now I have to find the clip. Vaguely remember an interview where it was shown.

Is it her in the Australian video version of 'Break me Shake me'? That clip mesmerised me as a kid. Though the themes in it probably aren't suited to your average ten year old... I thought she was a minx!

The year this came out is 2001 and album Words in Place of Objects followed in 2002. Jennifer Waite was the backing singer for Savage Garden before forming Aneki with Grant Wallis.

Great song - anyone got a better copy of the clip? What I love about this duo is the address on their CD single - The Gap, Qld. BTW - two-hit wonders. Remember "Superhero"?

Yes, that is true. Daniel Jones created his own record label after Savage Garden split up and this was the first act to be signed.

@MegaSmurf1212 While working at Coles, this came on and I started mumble-signing it while serving customers. It's worth the embaressment.

Was getting a haircut today - and this was playing - FFS - I thought she sounded like Deb. Didn't one of Savage Garden leave to produce this?
