The interviewer clearly misunderstood the meaning of the word "journeyman", which means a guy who's merely completed his apprenticeship - but has yet to demonstrate himself as the real deal. He then calls Andy and the likes of John Scofield ( ex Miles Davis ) "journeymen"!Pretty bloody insulting.Thank god Andy had the intelligence to realize the guy probably didn't know what he was saying. I suspect the interviewer thought it meant "hard working & committed to the craft". Ouch!

Can't blame Andy for being grumpy, the questions are a little jarring.

Glad you're digging the series. The questions could be a bit problematic, but you have to bear in mind that a lot of the times I was interpreting between Japanese and English - so the questions were coming from a different source. That's not to say that my own interviews were free of ignorant and patronizing questions, but in a lot of these interviews I was squirming because of the poor questions.
