For those interested, yes, these are indeed the same two reels on Frankie Gavin & Alec Finn's 1977 LP. The title given there is "Jackson's" (for the whole set) but upon further investigation, it would appear that the first tune (and possibly the second?) is a composition of the great Tommy Peoples. His title for it (the first tune) is "La Cosa Mulligan", an apparent tip of the hat to the record company that originally released the first Bothy Band record (amongst others). The second tune, alas, is shrouded in mystery, and at this point most musicians seem to use "Jackson's #2" when referring to it...
