First, thank you for the answer. I have played guitar for 7 years and that is a sound of a real one... but i've heard some keyboards fx with that sound o.O this sound is between guitar & keyboard, that's why i had this doubt =P i better watch a live version xd

Not sure if there is a pedal being used, sounds more like some unique tone settings and a few carefully placed pinch harmonics.

Definitely a guitar. I should know as a guitarist. There is a certain "metallic" string sound that cannot be electrically simulated perfectly. The difference between the two can be compared to grape flavored candy VS eating an actual grape. While there are great similarities, anyone who has eaten both should be able to easily distinguish the two. =)
