alright, the comments section here seems pretty welcoming and accepting, so i'm gonna let this go.i lost my mum on easter day this year. passed away in her sleep, i received the news at 6 AM the following day that she was gone. went into shock for a good week.now, my brother LOVES ajj. he comes up to me, plays a few songs, i look up more.a couple weeks ago, i found this one. i've spent 8 months now doing basically nothing except mourning.the line, "if you spend all your heart on something that has died, you are not alive, and that can't be your life" has,... kinda motivated me.see, she told me a while before she died that the reason we argued is because she saw too much of herself in me and she didn't want my life wasting away like hers. but when she died, i gave up. i started doing what she did- lazing around, not eating, not sleeping.. but that line reminded me, "hey kid, you can't do that."so i guess i owe my brother one.if you're reading this... do as the song says, and love what you can 'til it dies.

This song changed my life. The night that I discovered this song is the night that it hit me the most. I was in an abusive relationship, emotionally and verbally. Younger girl dating an older guy, I had NO IDEA what was going on.
