I believe Andrew Gold's death was on Monday June 6th, 2011. I have a good memory for these things. I know Rue McClanahan, who was famous for portraying Blanche Devereaux on The Golden Girls (Of which this song was the show's theme) passed away on Thursday June 3rd, 2010!
