I seen these guys back in 2005 with Bleed the dream. I was a little hesitant due to the crowd singing along was mainly girls. But I bought the CD on the way out the door, Now on everyone of my playlists there is some Anberlin. I have to admit Stephen Christian can sing and its easy to listen to and catchy.

@atomicfriendo the problem is that u go on practically every anberlin vid just to say "anberlin sucks" (and the thing is they really don't, they are all very talented musicians and writers.) I think watching a few, maybe 5 at the most would be enough for u to decide if u think they suck or not. But what u r doing is excesive and frankly kinda no-lifeish. U have made ur point, now quit trollin'

Two problems here. One is that Anberlin writes incredibly complex arrangements (complex for this style) that are difficult to properly re-produce live. Second, being a musician myself & having played in bands, I can tell you that their sound check for this performance was probably rushed and short and not what the band really needs and so it's very much seat-of-your-pants. I know for a fact the guitarist on our right can sing well. Chances are he couldn't hear himself well.
