I did a report on Jacque Brel for a French Project. He - like Lenard Cohen, I believe - are uncoverable. But I like this version, accordian just goes better with this song.

Best english version i have heard is by an Irish singer called jack lukeman or he also goes as jack l its on his album called "wax" he also does an excellent version of "crazy" by Gnarls Barkley. Or "Can't get you out of my head" Kylie.
