Those half-assed guitar voicings LOL. This functions well as a novelty, like that bluegrass At the Gates cover band, but not as real music for people to enjoy.

How the hell did they go from Privilege of Evil to this fruity stuff?

Yea I don't think that was "Fork of the North", it was Karelia from their first record. The drum beat is a polka beat (listen to If I Should Fall from the Grace of God by the Pogues) which is also a popular dance in Finland (pariisipolkka, polkka). If they were going to this song in an acoustic set, the polka is a great rhythm to do it to, and sense it is found all through Finnish folk music all the better.

The three original members that wrote this song are fine with this version. They're playing it. So stfu and enjoy.

Kids, it's called music. They're jamming their own song in a new way/genre. Enjoy it or leave

HAHAHA. This music must be why they are only playing to 10 people they are both bored and disinterested at the same time! Kenny G death metal! Not even fags like it.

I don't understand how this has only 1 dislike? Right from the beginning your anus is loosened by a bit of faggy Kenny G shit, introducing the worst fucking rendition of this song I can imagine. It isn't even a good joke. EVEN THE HIPSTERS PAID TO BE THERE CANT FEIGN INTEREST.

I like very much introduction with fork of the north from tales' album, but I must say that sign from the north side version is so curious and a bit weird, tomi's arrangements are great for a former growl song, clarinet sounds pretty good and some guitars too... but drum rhythm is not the best choice I guess, it's like a country music style... credence cwr or something like that :).. but it's ok, Amorphis is a badass band anyway, they have many songs which can be played in acoustic sessions...
