We are in the midst of a thunderstorm with plentiful lightning strikes. Appreciative of shelter, I Knock on Wood. #tdance

this is not the original 12" Version...but I like it. Where is this version from? It sounds like it may be a more modern remix...

John Burns--I was around at the time and can tell you that it was the most exciting time of my life. I went to the discos four times a week, took hustle lessons, danced with pretty girls, did some fancy moves and loved the music (most of it incredible and some of it contrived). Disco, like swing before it, was a special phenomenon, the likes of which only come around, once every few generations.

One of the greatest classics of all time. Powerful, energetic, and purely made for the hard dancer for the floor. Amii Stewart gave us this song with such beauty that her legacy lives on even today. Made from an old classic by Eddie Floyd and Steve Cropper it was an inspiration to Stewart to move on the next phase which was disco. Played all over the world in skating rinks, both ice and roller halls. There will be never another version other than this one. Wonderful blends of bass, and drums.
