Finally this cantata with the right title: Io vi miro ancor gentile and NOT "io vi miro ancor vestito" as reported from ages !

Apart from one or two technical flaws, I agree this performance is one of Galli-Curci's later records I most admire. Her unerring sense of style and rhythm as well as her "ping" attack is very evident. She seems to have a true feel for baroque music (listen to her beautiful singing of "Caro mio ben" as well). By the way, Roberta Peters made a very fine early recording of the aria.
