Yes Marty that's correct. They are my grandparents. My mother was Janelle. She actually played drums in my grandmothers band. This song brings back a lot of memories. I grew up listening to great music like this.

I would like to add that actually co-wrote this song with Bill and Frances Rhodes. I too was very excited to hear that this song has been reintroduced by two great artists! I really like this song and wish there were more artist doing this type country music. This is what country music is all about.

My father, Perry Pulliam, wrote this song over 40 years ago. Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn recorded it for their first album "We Only Make Believe"! I've always loved this song. An no, my father did not cheat on my mother. He heard the hook on a soap opera! I can't think of anyone I would love to record my father's music more than Vince Gill...and he said the same thing to me today!
