Scandalous...a 3 minute song in 1964? Radio stations were not receptive to that. This is amazing music, and very soulful. yep, great tune!

I agree with Himberland B - and Icampos -this version is IT.

No need to fight about what's best. This one is just gritty, downright nasty, as it should be. But The Stones version still gets my vote for production, etc.

This shouldn't be covered by white man. Love the Stones but they should've left this one alone

The song lost its sexual edge with the stones.

The point of the Coasters version is the vocal arrangement. The Coasters were a pet project of Leiber & Stoller and they hadn't had a hit since 1962 so they were trying out old material, hoping for a chart hit.

This one is from 1964, The Rolling Stones did it in 1965 and the Coasters did it in 1966. Both this and the Coasters versions were produced by Leiber & Stoller.

I don't have a toilet. What was my original post anyways?, Something like "Blues sucks, this is only for Rolling Stones fans, and they speak volumes of boring" Was it something like that?... Or like "We advanced from these forms of music for many reasons" not sure. It's a good song. but seriously, Mick jagger sucks.. took covering the Beatles to get them fame.

One of my all-time favourite songs but it was it was written by Artie Butler and Jerry Leiber, not Leiber/Stoller.

What was the point of The Coasters' release? The arrangement with the staccato horns is identical on both...

This is the original. Then The Stones. Then The Coasters.
