If you really like Mark Tremonti, stay away from all of Creed's stuff.  Alter Bridge is where he cuts loose and really shines.  And Miles Kennedy also has a different band playing more of a hair band style with Slash on lead.  But AB is as good as it gets for me.

This album was an excellent purchase. I'm never dissatisfied with Alter Bridge; they are a fantastic band--and this is coming from someone heavily into death metal and other forms of extreme metal. One of the best hard-rock acts of our day.
