Reminds me of themes visted by TS Eliot in Prufrock and The Hollow Men. A-ville's 80 stuff was great, though afternoons in utopia as whole was philosophical album. I rather enjoy a stunning vocal performance that makes me vs. the majority of auto tuned stuff that is passed offf as music.

There is no confusion about the dollar bill.Washington was a mason and the god he trusted in is Satan, satan is the god of this world and the heavens above it. America has been trusting in this god all along. We have been fools! Thus, the song. I am wondering if Gold is talking about Satan when he sings "faithful and true". We would imagine it to be Jesus Christ but we could be fooled by that.i think this song very profound.
