August burns red and parkway drive are hardcore not metal bands, all that remains and as I lay dying are metalcore but leans more towards metal in my opinion and pantera is a good example of straight up metal and ffdp is metal with maybe some alternative influence at times

Well this band was experimented with thier's sound from the very beginning. And that is why I love them - because every album is something new and interesting, this is evolution, not "betrayal" as haters say. Since that 11 years they was changing their style from death metal to melodic metalcore - and from album to album they became more expirienced and their's music became better. Excuse me for my English :)

Not only are they staying true to everything theyve ever done but they put their heads on the chopping block standing up to the politicians & corrupted goverment officials who attempt to take our freedom! Every album ATR has is different but take out "overcome",the only one not produced by Adam D of Killswitch, & every album gets better & better. ATR are the farthest thing from sell outs. Grow Up!
