Pantera doesnt suck, but you really can't compare them to ASP because they're totally different. Pantera is southern-old school groove metal, whereas ASP is new-school metalcore. I'm pretty sure ASP has been around longer than BoO as well, so you can't really back that up. ASP also has the craziest screams and the best breakdowns. That's just my opinion. p.s don't diss Dimebag, he's legendary in the guitar world. I'm sure any guitarist would beat you for dissing him.

Yeah you read correctly. Nobody sounds like All Shall Perish. Maybe you should actually listen to the music instead of basing their sound on who they tour with. Then again, they're not nu-metal so you probably wouldn't like them. L2Metal nub.

First of all, the new music doesn't sound anything like Born of Osiris. I love BoO but its basically Disturbed with changes in time signature and some random cool riffs. And Pantera sucks. They were always a godawful, un-creative band. All southern rock sounds the same whereas nobody sounds like ASP, nor does anyone match up to ASP's musicianship.

All Shall Perish's drumming is some of the best in the genre. I have listened to Pantera. They used to be one of my favourite bands, however, i believe ASP has better guitars and drums and is more melodic. Listen to Day Of Justice or The True Beast.
