Triplets on a swing rhythm -- classic Beatles polyrhythm! :)

All My Loving, Beatles. Rhythm guitar part. Rickenbacker 325 C58 2009 reissue, on a Vox VT30 modelling an AC30TB. Just had to do the vintage B&W overexposed look. Big shout out and thanks to Tokyo997 and mjsokes -- cheers guys.

Excellent demo of Lennon's guitar part! Hope to see more videos from you.

I think Lennon broke the strum throughout - it wasn't one continuous up down pattern through all the chords. He might have left off the last two strums of each chord. (just going from memory)

For those commenting on "wrong" chords, I would suggest you watch films and vids of The Beatles. John rarely played anything the same way twice.

Solo chord starts on a A chord not a B7.The triplets have breaks in it, when the chord changes from F#m to B7 "break/pause" E to C#m "Break/pause" A... etc

I can see you are a young person. It's great you are playing a very respected piece of rhythm guitar by John Lennon...you did a very good job on that piece.

Wonderful work, down to the tone. I can never get those damn triplets right!

Been wondering how Lennon played those triplets since I first heard the song. I guessed it must be difficult, because in some 'live' recordings he moves off the rhythm, slightly. But brilliant. Thanks

James brill as ever. I had a thought tho after 40 yrs of watching people playing Beatles etc most people play Beatles songs sitting down, and you can see the strain on chord shapes in my mind its harder. How about you do it with a guitar strap (might be diff at first) and tell me if there is a diff.
