I use to see this on polish tv as a child. It was communism time, everything was grey, but sometimes they shown on tv parts of music clips from western countries. This one was one of my favourites:)

Great voice but the two muppets spoil the ambiance for me. Never saw the video as anything but Alison singing her heart out then the two idiots tried to force a laugh and failed miserably. How poor miss Moyet managed that note when being propped in the left arm by a moron beats me?

Koniec współuzależnienia, to akt mojego wyzwolenia!Koniec końców każdy, w swoim czasie, zetknie się z prawdą mitu o Raju i wygnania człowieka z niego. Przychodzimy na świat w Prawdziwej Naturze Umysłu. Żyjemy pełnią, niczym w Raju. Ale nasze "ja" odrzuca tę pełnię, bo mu się wydaje, że jest mądrzejsze i sprytniejsze, a "cel" osiągnie łatwiejszymi sposobami, nie wymagającymi wysiłku i pracy nad sobą. Sięga po "zakazany owoc", czyli drogę na skróty do szczęścia. I to jest początkiem upadku jednostki, prowadzącego do cierpienia i rozpaczy. Dopiero doznawane w życiu piekło, jest w stanie przebudzić nas, z naszego koszmarnego, samolubnego snu, wzbudzić tęsknotę za utraconym Rajem i zachęcić do wkroczenia na trudną ścieżkę, prowadzącą do ponownego zjednoczenia, z źródłem wszelkiego bytu...

WOW I love this song this is perfect to perfect. I love Alison Moyet so much. I love her voice too. Her voice is so stunning. pretty. beautiful, gorgeous strong and very powerful. Alison Moyet is very pretty, beautiful, stunning, gorgeous, lovely and very glamorous. I love Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders too they are very funny and make me laugh especially in this video French And Saunders is a very brilliant TV show I love it so much. I hope to see Alison Moyet in concert in the UK soon which would be fantastic and amazing. And I would love to meet Alison Moyet one day too which would be fantastic and super amazing. I hope Alison brings more songs and more albums out soon. I am saving my money up to get Alison's albums and completion albums for my birthday this year how fab is that? I wonder what Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders are both up to now? I haven't seen them on TV in ages and I know Alison Moyet still sings. Love you forever and I always will Alison Moyet, Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders you all are amazing, fantastic and fab and you all rock you go girls.

That music video was an insult to Alison's spectacular contralto... even if it was meant to be silly. Really wonderful voice though! Nearly as good as Elvis, and that's a HUGE compliment.

Absolutely beautiful, Alison reached No.4 in the UK chart in December 1987 and that is the same position that Ketty Lester got to in May 1962 with her original. Elvis Presley took an excellent version of that song to No.6 in the UK in August 1966.
