Note to commenters I have blocked: This is my channel, and I am a Christian. Anti-Christ comments will not be tolerated, nor will there be lengthy arguments. You have your own channel, so use it for that stuff. Negativity is not welcome here; there is already too much of it in the world, and I will not facilitate its' growth.

Early in 2005, Akus performed this beautiful Christian song written by guitarist Ron Block. As of 2012, at the age of 40, Alison has won 27 Grammys, so she has not only won more than any other woman, but only needs 5 more to be the owner of more Grammys than any other person, period. Thank you! Wonderful video and for your stand. I don't go to non-believer's sites and express my opinion, I was brought up to respect others. You don't have to agree with my faith in God but give the same courtesy to me that I give to you in you in your non-belief.

I've seen hard times and I've been toldThere isn't any wonder that I fallWhy do we suffer, crossing off the yearsThere must be a reason for it allI've trusted in You, Jesus, to save me from my sinHeaven is the place I call my homeBut I keep on getting caught up in this world I'm living inAnd Your voice it sometimes fades before I knowHurtin' brings my heart to You, crying with my needDepending on Your love to carry meThe love that shed His blood for all the world to seeThis must be the reason for it allHurtin' brings my heart to You, a fortress in the stormWhen what I wrap my heart around is goneI give my heart so easily to the ruler of this worldWhen the one who loves me most will give me allIn all the things that cause me pain You give me eyes to seeI do believe but help mine unbeliefI've seen hard times and I've been toldThere is a reason for it all

Beautifully said above. I had the honor to meet Allison twice over the years Truly love her raw voice, a lot of voice for a little lady. She is a sweet soul and very gifted. Thanks for sharing your story and this song. God bless. xxxx Dennis.

Just caught Allison Krauss & Co. on AXSTV. Excellent music. If you are a sinner, you are just the person Jesus is looking for. If you aren't....well, then you have a much bigger problem.

Allison and Union Station are quite simply wonderful. Ron Blocks songs are heartfelt and full of meaning, sweet melodys and harmonys. I am a humanist, but that does not stop me from loving Rons songs. You do not have to believe to simply listen. All songs are to a certain extant make believe, if it strikes a chord with you then that is all that matters. Christian or not, this is simply wonderful. I hope this will not upset you, even unbelievers can appreciate the sentiments behind this lovely and thoughtfull song

I love this song. It is like a prayer that I bet many people have prayed in their life. "I do believe but forgive my unbelief."

Alison Krauss and the musicians who play with her are true geniuses. How can you improve on what they do? Just amazing.

Love this song. About 15 years ago, I wrote a poem with a similar theme that I called "Pity Not," the theme of suffering of the believer leading him closer to Christ. First few lines: Pity not the one whose life, Is marked by widespread pain and loss, If in the course of earthly strife, Should lead him closer to the cross...

Thank you for uploading this song in video. Ron is an amazing songwriter and the whole group is so supportive of each other, you can see their connection in the looks they share while performing, and talking on stage. They are my favorite musicians individually, and when playing together. Alison's voice is the most beautiful woman's voice I have ever heard.:I watch them and believe they must be the most contented musicians in the world. +
