The main reason I (and probably many others) dont really like the new aic is this. Jerry and william just sing the same exact lyrics at the same time. It takes away from the complexity in a way. It sounded awesome when Jerry and layne both had their own parts for the songs. Jerry and will both have great voices that go together, but I feel like they should have seperate lead and backup singers. Thats one of the reasons the old aic was so good. Just my opinion though

The man's life basically fell apart while he was in space. His wife (I think) basically stopped caring for him, he didn't know when he could come back, plus he had that thing in his shoulder. It makes sense, as the song is about feeling hollow inside, and his life basically deteriorated into a hollow existence.
