No matter what anyone tries to say Layne was a fucking legend the best musician of all time. He was one of a kind & for anybody to try to bash him for this or that is fucked up. Even his last show he gave it his all. He had compassion & soul. Today's music sucks there is no real sound anymore all the teenie bopper crap all the greats are gone & faded out of the scene. Rest in peace Layne You are greatly missed music will never be the same without you. Much Respect & Love

But his drug use was way out of control Sorry to say. some of us have demons way deeper than we know of sometimes and it is a sad world out there for the ones fighting them alone.

Ran Lights for these guys back in the 90s they where so ahead of their time. 91 they toured with VH and know wow, still not the same band with the new singer though just like them because of Jerry Cantrell. glad the band did get back together. most of the vocals you hear and it sounds like Lane is because Jerry sang most of what you hear anyways as the sound of the band. R.I.P. Lane Miss ya.
