Agree, enjoy the music. Who the hell cares what it means/or about. Most people watching/enjoying these videos on here grew up with this music (myself the early 80's right through the 90's). Thats the great thing about music, for the most part it is open to your interpitation.

@10cavsfan thats a good interpretation but the song has a less deep meaning. it's actually about how he would get in trouble and he'd be sat down on a wooden chair that was set in front of a mirror so he could think about what he had done. my original interpretation was somebody being electrocuted on an electric chair, but yeah, good interpretation

@TheThroney Well he was pretty much a tortured soul, you know Layne's estranged dad was the one that pushed him on to drugs? How can you not be considered tortured from that? Layne said repeatedly he didn't want to be doing heroin but he had no choice, it was pretty much keeping him alive, the heroin he was getting back in the day was probably only 10-15% pure, it killed him off quicker than you can imagine

i love how if youre an artist and addicted to drugs its because their pain in life was so great and they were tortured.. no. theyre like everyone else.. did drugs to get high, have fun, eventually got hooked and then they dont just do em to get high but to not feel withdrawls because it's easier to just keep going. doesnt matter if youre a poet or great musician, we can all still make stupid choices in life and fuck up
