I hope you realize, when Nazi Germany invaded Poland, they had a deal with the Soviets that they would split Poland in half, each side getting one half. The Soviets would not attack the Nazi's in return.

You do know that when the Soviets were advancing on Poland and the Polish people of Warsaw rose up against the Nazis as they saw the Soviets approaching Warsaw the Soviet forces halted to allow the Nazis to slaughter the Poles who were revolting because they wished for it to be a Soviet victory not a Polish one. Sure they liberated the east but they also subjugated Poland for the next half-century. Who was it that tried to crush freedom and solidarność in Poland?
