"I, The Creator" is one of my favorite songs off of 'The Amanuensis'.
Shout out to Mike Malyan for writing killer parts. It was a privilege filling in for him. Monuments has already been out touring with Mike since I filled in, and if you didn't already know, he's fully recovered and back at the kit.

The snare is a 14x6.5 David Silveria which belongs to my good friend Alex Markidies. This is without a doubt one of my favorite snare sounds I've achieved in my home studio.
Huge thanks to Adam 'Nolly' Getgood for the mix. Never ceases to amaze me how much he can bring out the sounds I capture here. Incredibly talented guy... not that you all don't already know that! Drums are all natural, kick too! Used a Beta91 inside & an AKG D112 out (though, I think most of the sound is the 91).

Im Curious +Alex Rudinger what recording interface do you use when track drums?..Im thinking about taking the jump and using pro tools 11 for my DAW but I need to know what Interface would be best for me..im thinking either apogee quartet or focus rite 18i20..hopefully you or Nolly would be able to answer this!
