Whilst it's wholly inaccurate to say that Yngwie's career crashed after leaving Alcatrazz, it's equally inaccurate to portray Bonnet as anything other than the central figure in the band. When he established Alcatrazz, he was already a star, whilst no one had heard of Yngwie. Moreover, his epic voice, and inspired lyrics were - along with Yngwie's lead guitar - what made 'No Parole from Rock 'n' Roll' such a heavy, awesome album.

You have it the other way around....... YJM was Alcatrazz! When he left the band Alcatrazz was done. Yngwie wanted to write his own songs and do his own thing! He is to good not to be a solo act.

Comeon ppl Bonet was the orignal singer of this song in Rainbow. He only did 1 album in Rainbow but that was a very good one.

Not only does Yngwie take this Rainbow cover to an entirely different level...it quite possibly features one of his greatest (and shortest) improv solos. A perfect sample of Yngwie at the height of his powers, with unmatched virtuosity, note selection, phrasing, tone, and the most killer vibrato that has ever been heard.
