It's completely fair to say! If I decided that I liked the Strokes better than I do Arcade Fire, It's completely my opinion. It's not unnecessary. Personally? I enjoy Albert Hammond Jr.'s solo project more than I do Julian's. Not a big deal, just an opinion.

That's a unnecessary comment. Just because they're in the same band, it does not mean that you have to compair their solo works. It doesn't even make sense. I bet you woulnd't like to be compaired to your relatives, for example. Anyway, I just think that's a totally unnecessary comment. Each one has its work, just enjoy which one you want without choosing better ones, that's subjective.
