Her voice is instantly recognisable and she is a consummate live performer. On 2 July 2012 Alanis Morissette returned to Montreux as part of her Guardian Angel Tour in support of her new album "Havoc And Bright Lights". It was her third appearance at the festival. The set showcased a number of tracks from the new album alongside classic tracks from across her career. This is Alanis Morissette live at her very best.

She is not like she use to be. She is weak now and all last year she sang pretty horrible for the most part. She had a couple great shows and this was not one of them. Listen to the cd and you will see what I mean. It's awful. You are full of crap with more range anyway and stronger voice or lying to yourself or deaf.10 years ago

Whatever she is taking it's not helping very much. This whole show is a let down with her in several ways. Besides the band she sounds pretty lame and bad with most of the signing. Not so bad on this song but it's just not good enough to spend my time listening to it over and over. I heard the whole show and that was enough for me. I hope she does some better versions of jlp in the future or some new stuff. It seems she is just trying to get more money out of it at this point & that is pathetic11 years ago

I'm sure she takes more than pills and those guys kiss her ass like no others. She played with Taylor and now she has this ok guy. Blair was better than this person but he can keep a beat so big deal I guess. Hard to get the best when you are to f't up and don't care is my viewpoint just like hey, they get along and do the basics so she just pushes forward like who cares.
