lyrics is saying madness rules the world and the whole song is saying why bother with our souls they aint ours why follow like sheeps ,no man can turn the tide of fortune etc.it gives ppl the courage to think that we would be smarter to do what we please that at the end of the day we live just once etc.whole song it written to show that to not to believe in god is more comfortable and smart thing to do10 years ago

I am sorry to butt in but I dont see anything bad about this song. It is about the way of living (that is how i figure the song to be). I am not the follower of Satan, dont get me wrong, I live the life of a Jewish faith and I see nothing wrong with the song saying how we should praise satan. I dont even think the lyrics stated that we should (for my opinion i think we shouldn't) but again the lyrics I am seeing here is stating the facts of people's life because of what Sigmund Freud -10 years ago

he is clearly saying that those who believe in god are sheeps and that we live in fantasy and in my opinion he is trying to make listeners to think in a very tricky way what if there isnt god and i just try to rule the world myself. thats how i understood it and that is wrong. and what is wrong is not good to share. but unfortunately i have to tolerate ppl who praise him. but if i could i wouldnt and i would kill them. when you get a cancer you dont feel sorry for it to die .11 years ago

It all depends on how the listener views it, in many cases. Sure, there are indeed songs out there that praise Satan or other deities which i might not agree with, but each listener has a slightly different view on each song. To me, this song is about how one man can make a difference in a world where nothing is going right. I'm glad we can all get on here and share our opinions. :)12 years ago
