Makes me think of the old town I used to live in. More like my old house. We had a beautiful garden where I played and a lilac bush that scented the kitchen when the window was open. I moved and my dad drove by the old house and said that it was the worse house in the neighborhood. The people trashed the garden, overgrew the grass and chopped down the lilac bush. Our small town is still holding on but sadly that looks set to change with developers adding more housing estates every month and the planning of a large Mall on the edge of town that noone wants. We already loose half our business to the Woolworth's supermarket out on the highway and now we look set to lose yet more to some big business. At least local keeps money local.
