from the 1985 RCA Lp AHL1-5339 40 Hour Week produced by Harold Shedd and Alabama and song written by D. Morgan and S. Davis. This song is great and was never released a single and it should have been released as one. A little diffrent sound than most of their songs but they did a great job on this one. The album was mastered digitally and has great sound quality and also that clean ,crisp sound of a vinyl recording.

I love all of Alabama's music, but this is my all time favorite of their songs. I still don't get why it was never a single. It would have blown EVERYTHING out of the water in the mid '80s. At least it was on the album for us all to enjoy. I still think they should release it as it is now. Teach those modern non-country country singers a thing or two.

one of my favorite songs of the group. I love the hits, but love the not so well known songs off of the albums, this one is great for it is a good love story, and great harmonies

Me too; my late sister and I listened to this song over and over when we were about 7 and 8. We wore out the tape. Bring a tear to a glass eye this does

thanks for posting it, we were talking at work about beaches in Fla and I brought up this song. This is the one Alabama LP I own. It does have a good sound quality. Good harmonies. A lot of today's pop stuff is over processed and some of the country is a bit by the numbers. So its good to hear something like this.
