The Late Al Wilson Got A Lucky Break In The 60's When Johnny Rivers Signed Him To His Soul City Record Label And Helped Him Get The Hit Song "The Snake" In 1968. His Biggest Hit Was "Show & Tell", #1 In 1973. The Follow Up "La La Peace Song" Did OK. In 1976, Al Wilson Switched To Playboy Records And Released This Nice Top 40 Gem That Reached Back Trying To Capture The Sound And Success Of "Show & Tell". "I've Got A Feeling" Made It To #29.

Al Wilson is a good example of the importance of getting a good producer in your career. Had he hooked up with Gamble and Huff, or even Tom Bell he would have had more hits and been a bigger star.

Carl Hampton and Homer Banks staff writers with Stax records. And great orchestral arrangement by H. B. Barnum. Guaranteed quality hit. Have a listen
