I thought this was superb when I was 22. A day before my sixtieth birthday, I still do

One of my favorite moody pieces of all time. Draws up images of looking out of a snow covered window in Evanston Illinois thinking of my lost love who may as well have been in Carvahal. Passion and desperation of youthful love. Dark and moody stuff.

@vwest1ife I'm amazed that so few people have watched this. I know it's somewhat overproduced but the music is just gorgeous. One of my Al Stewart favourites (I used to do a fair rendition on my guitar in my younger days too!).

@chrian31410 Those are for adjusting the automatic tonearm mechanism. I believe L.IN is "Lead In", which adjusts where it drops down the stylus at the beginning of the record, RET is "Return", which adjusts when it picks up and returns the tonearm at the end of the record. I'm not sure about "SW".

I have a question about the trimmers on the pl990. What does L.IN stand for? Or RET? Or SW?
