If you have never been to one of Morgan James' fabulous concerts let me paint you this picture... It's 3 AM and Morgan just did her encore song. People are up on their feet clapping and cheering. The excitement hits a peak when Morgan comes back out to do a second encore. The energy and excitement is so high that the crowd breaks into a fit of uncontrollable giggles. And then this happens...

She is a technical genius. But, I don't feel the spirit. I guess she will bring it when that heart is in pain.

A great hidden talent!!! This lady can blowwwww!!! And she was brave enough to take in an Aretha Franklin hit and kill it!!! She even held that high note that Ms. Franklin's background repeats throughout this haunting classic.

She's a great singer. A little too loud at times. But from some of the radio interviews I've heard of hers, she's a student of R&B, so her best is probably yet to come. Which is to say she'll perhaps learn to pull the emotion from a soul song without getting too loud or over-singing (see Luther Vandross, Phyliss Hyman, Freddie, or more recently, Maxwell, Faith Evans, etc)
