Fantastic album, start to finish! This song is beautiful and my favorite song of Aimee's. She knows how to tug at your heart and split open your brain at the same time. She's a thinker and in my opinion one of the best song writers to date.

Going through my music collection looking for highlights. Here's one from Aimee Mann that I'm fond of. "It's Not" is a song about being stuck in a rut. I would say Mann's vocals are breathless, but she seems too exasperated to muster the energy for even breathlessness. A perfect song that's the perfect coda to her "Lost in Space" album.

Just a question why is it that when I use Aimee Mann's music for a youtube video I made - and despite giving her full credit for the music I still get hit with a copyright infringement - but videos like this are still allowed?
