Video created using the intro for the film "Lolita" (1997) by Adrian Lyne.

This intro is the backstory of the film and the main character Humbert (Jeremy Irons) . A love at young age that is suddenly taken away by death. What is to follow is the (what I call) disturbingly beautiful, beautifully disturbed film that is Lolita.

What movie is this? We all know it isn't Lolita because that's about a young girl with an older man. This is tottally a different story. Help this movie I need to watch

Heard this track years ago on Boudoir Beats lounge disc 2. What a dig of a good, classic soul/hiphop tune. Must say haven't seen either movie or the book; but my hats off to this amazing video edit you've put together!

Haha. I was cruising for scenes from Lyne's film for an essay and bam, find one of my favorite songs to one of my favorite novels' film adaptation. Annabel Lee/Leigh!

@snackmeister I very much recommend the book as well as the film. It has many layers and can be interpreted several ways. It is highly controversial and has sparked many debates. I wanted to use footage from throughout the film but there's just too much footage to tell the story in 3 min, even without using spoilers. I saw the trailer here on youtube and it doesn't do it justice, its confusing. This is a film that has to be seen beginning to end, several times. Thanks for the compliment Snack!
