I agree with your second point. However roger's vocals alone do not define hardcore. I love hardcore and i dislike his vocals. Excluding Victim in pain, which is one of my fav hardcore albums.

yea i grew up listenin to af. madball, sher terror, bulldoze, define, sick of it all. all those great hardcore bands. on of my friends was in define before he passed away. im 19 but the day i was born i was told i was listenin to some agnostic front. i even had a nyhc shirt. kids just listen to what ever the croud listens to.
