Paul used to play for Kitty Wells, after the gigs he would have to drive the bus all night to the next gig. Got to shake hands with him at the Kentucky Theater after a Chet Atkins concert while he was clearing the guitars off the stage.

1918 song so beautiful. Look up the lyrics to this song they are too realistic.

More guys don't play like this for one simple reason---they can't!

Chet was one of the best fingerpicking in the history with someone, or not, but Paul was a GREAT guitarist.

Paul Yandell was the guitarist who made Chet Atkins sound Great. Nowhere in Wikipedia could I find (on Chet's Biography), the Mention of The Great Paul Yandell ! Jerry Reed, Tommy Emmanuel, Les Paul, and others are all mentioned, but not Paul Yandell ! Speaking for fingerstyle guitarists like myself, I think we could all see behind the scenes, who the uncredited musicians are. Though I am far younger than Paul, Chet, and the others, this style of Guitar is Best.

I really don't understand why a few guys in the UK aren't playing like this - it is such a nice melodic style - perfect for pubs and wedding recetptions. Perhaps its just too dificult for most guys?

Ay, ResoWeiss this is great! But on Nine Pound Hammer, it starts out clear then it gets real muddy. can you re-post that so it's clear and fit the hole tune in. THANKS
