@MylifeisSWELL I already stated that I meant to say ALTERNATIVE rock was lame, not progressive. Bands like Nickelback and Kings of Leon. I know the genre wouldn't exist without bands like Rush or Pink Floyd, It was never my intention to discredit these bands I just wanted to defend the vocal style of the band.

@WillyWonkaIsSatanic I wasn't bashing on an entire genre. I was talking about the vocals because someone had commented on how it was bad, or something. I didn't bash on progressive rock I said it sounded lame. Also I commented on this 5 months ago honestly I don't really even know what bands classify as progressive rock, I meant to say alternative rock is lame.

@Bret3333 Fuck that opinion, I like some of the bands he named (pink floyd for one) and prog metal is my favorite genre too. Don't bash on a whole fucking genre simply because some asshole doesn't share our opinion that ATB kicks ass. BTBAM and Opeth are some of my favorite bands, and they're both progressive.
