Soulfly-xP, they were the best in the ganre, because they all were insanely skilled musicians and all oriented more to progressive metal, than to symphonic. Just listen the time changes, the drum section, the guitar tune, the bass... I don't want to mention the vocal lines, because they aren't from this world. NO other band in symphonic music has these things. (Floor's other band ReVamp have something like this, but still need time to improve their songwritting, although "Wild Card" was damn fine album)As for Nightwish - their early material was challenging to play, but the later (after CC) is challenging only for the vocalist at SOME points.

It is true also for me this was the best band of this genre because their songs are even more difficult to interpret than Nightwish. But now she is in Nightwish and Tuomas write an album for Floor voice that makes me very happy!.

I really miss After Forever a lot, they will always be the best symphonic metal band around the world! Floor's voice is so strong, so powerful. What about this lyric? This concert at Pinkpop Festival was really epic!

It is really unbelievable... Since Grace Slick and Janis Joplin from the 60s there wasn`t a female voice with that power and control like Floors. Espacially in this performance she really transcends from a normal singer to something much bigger, she becomes a goddes. To the end it looks like she is both, a goddes in a powerful rough ocean of music and the ocean itself at the same time. What a remarkable experince. Thank you Floor!
