I know you wrote this comment a few months ago, but AFI has never been an emo band and they don't write emo lyrics. There's a difference between true emo bands and a band that just writes "dark" lyrics. There's emotion(s) in every song, but it doesn't automatically classify a band as "emo" unless they were that way from the start. Some bands they just were classified as that from the beginning.12 years ago
