I think Davey actually had that surgery way before this, '03 or '04. It was during the STS tour and they cancelled a bunch of shows, I believe. I think maybe he was just struggling this show for whatever reason. I've seen him perform the same songs before and after this fantastically, he just wasn't at his greatest this time. (Also, shoddy equipment? Davey's mic is pretty quiet and Hunter's and Jade's are really loud.) (Omg! He did accidentally spit. Well, whoever it landed on can say Davey spit and then apologized, not everyone can say that. ;D )

His throat wouldn't hurt because of screaming, because there's a way of screaming if you do it properly. And he does it. I saw him in April and it gave me shivers when he screamed. He is absolutely fucking amazing. They are amazing. Favourite band of all time :) Wanna marry davey. Oh and it probably sounds weak because his microphone is attached to the camera .... So there's no chance for it to echo or anything.

all of you people need to shut up about him not singing that well because his voice got messed up and he had to get surgery...you guys are luckey that he is still sticking with the band and performing so support him and dont complain
